Our two centre halves look totally different players after playing with Elphick. Jordy was screaming at the full backs to get back in line, step up and push out in the second half. The marking has become much stronger. Burke just seems to win everything. I really like Todd Kane. Think he’s such a good player defensively and offensively.

End of November we were bottom 2. We've made up 10 points on auto promo places since then. If we keep our players and can avoid injuries/suspension then why is it not possible to make up another 10 points? That would make us less than 2 wins off champions with 7 games left. Ok optimistic head off time, even a dramatic loss of form and only 4 points to make up still seems like a walk in the park. Innit a shame we cant throw 20 million on a couple of class signings to virtually ensure a play off spot.

I overheard some ecky thumper putside after saying "....I can't remember the last time we played as bad as that." Thought he was gonna come out with classic " We shouldn't be losing to a club like Hal" Wasn't really that SWFC were bad it was just that we were slicker, more organised, more confident and more determined. And the credit for that goes to Acko.

No matter were City end up after 46 games, pulling away from nailed on, absolute 100% relegation certs has to be one of the most amazing turnarounds in recent memory. I recall Palace under Dowie, about 15 years ago, been $hit-kicking also-rans at Christmas and getting promoted. Not saying its going to happen with City, but wouldn't it be nice.
