Full time 3-0 win It literally could have been another Barnsley-type 6-0 walloping, with Grant missing three absolute sitters in the second half (one on ones). If Jonny Williams stays fit we will go up with him, Bielik and Taylor in this team. JW is the missing piece in the Charlton jigsaw. Great day out, topped off by seeing @Clb74 in a pair of trousers.
Dillon Phillips was excellent today. Two top class saves in the first half, one from point blank range.
The difference with last seasons game in the play off , this time we dominated them and should have had loads more if grant learnt how to finish a one on one Williams is a cut above and fosu will struggle to get back in if he keeps playing like that. Bielik and Sarr class again, Phillips did well . With Cullen coming back I like our chances and we should create lots of chances. Great noise from the charlton end as well Good time to be a charlton fan
Grant was the one negative today - he doesn’t bring much to this side apart from goals, & he proved again today he has no composure in front of goal.
Yep he had a reggie blinker in front of goal but I like his persistence, he completely made that penalty himself , nutmegs on half way line then a direct run into box , why the defender touched him is stupid though he would have only fired over
