I was nervous every time he had the ball with someone closing him down, I don't think he appreciated how important it was not too lose possession as a CB
he trod on ball in warm up. I doubt it's anything serious cos he was sprinting out there second half.
He reads the game very well, did better okay in defence today, made a couple of important looking blocks.
there was one occasion Brighton hasn't realised he's go no legs. he kicked it 5 yards in from of him and had to try get it and Brighton player backed off in truth Brighton set up to defend and gave us 75% possession.
he was sprinting towards their penalty area in the 95th min though god knows why he thought that was where he should be at that stage is beyond me.
doubt it. he was feeling it on 10 to 15mins and after 30mins he was fine. commentator blaming a bad pass on him being injured was stupid.
Can't think of too many decisions he got wrong though. He wrongly gave is s corner in the early stages, other than that outs the lack of yellow cards, doubt the Brighton fans were too bothered about the latter
I thought we should have had a penalty in the first half when VVD was pulled back by the Brighton defender, he used to hands to pull VVD back by the arm thus preventing him from attacking the corner.
he got Milner foul wrong. he refused to give any cards despite several raised arms and deliver at a hand balls... the Brighton lads were actually amazing thst they didn't get a card for mouthing at the useless ****.
