so i believe that means our only available strikers are Barnes and Long. Alrighty then.

Play deep and compact to mitigate Vardy getting in behind, try to win the ball as they aimlessly pass it about midfield and counter quickly with Long. It sounds a bit like Puel might be at that stage he was with us where he lost the players and is losing the fans so frustrating them seems like the way to go.
I said to play deep, compact and frustrate them but i didn't mean for us to take it that far!

I think we can safety add organising a defence to the long list of positives Ralph has.

Wow wow wow. That would have been a great result if we had a full squad to choose from. To get a win with so many out injured and suspended and then get a player sent off and still hold onto a lead despite having lost 2-0 leads so many times is huge. Well done Saints, huge effort!

The Arsenal win was brilliant for the elation side of things - both in terms of beating a big side, and finally winning at home. But for so many other reasons, this win was bigger.

Another magnificent defensive display, as good as the Chelsea one. Their goal was a complete fluke, but apart from that, everyone played a blinder Targett was incredible, Vestergaard won every header, Bednarek and Stephens blocked everything, and Cedric shut Chilwell down.

And then there was Romeu. Possibly his best game this season.

Yesssss!

Everyone of those guys is a hero!

Can a ref please explain how such a frenetic half with so few stoppages and no real time wasting can be given 4 minutes stoppage time?
Referees discretion to add minutes lost in first half then or wait till full time (I think that’s right )

I’ve read that about Romeu following pretty much all of his recent performances. Thank goodness he’s back to his best because we really need him.

Fantastic result. Fantastic backs to the wall performance. Fantastic spirit.

Not sure why people are complaining about Oliver - thought he refereed the game well.

From listening on Solent - who you would naturally expect to be slightly biased towards us - the only issues they seemed to pick up on Oliver were not booking Vardy for diving, and not giving Valery a straight red in the first half. I certainly didn't get any strong feeling about him having had a bad game.

Y
Too much diving by Leicester. They should have had a few booked for it at least. He didn't get on top of it which made them do it even more.
yeah maybe but no hesitation in giving us the pen. No major mistakes- stuff around edges like too much time added on and failing to book for diving I will take compared to some of the shockers we’ve had this season. Easier to bear when we win of course. Oliver is one of few refs I rate and no change in that opinion today.

Valery didn't really dive (unlike Vardy) as there was definitely contact by Chilwell kicking the back of his legs
