https://www.manchestereveningnews.c...ll-news/man-city-liverpool-goal-line-15628058 Liverpool fans question goal line technology. Poor dears. On another issue from that game, I just watched some highlights and I was wondering why Klopp’s first reaction after Firmino’s equaliser was to drag out his water bottle from his pocket and strangle it with both hands. Any ideas?
This one really concerned me at the time..... https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www....-ham-jurgen-klopp-celebration-sadio-mane/amp/
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/46799747 About last night's cup game but relevant for the EPL. Both managers critical of VAR...one because he considered Kane off side using Chelsea's own video evidence and Pochettino because he doesn't want to win like this. He dislikes VAR and thinks a lot more work needs doing on it.
I guess a Newcastle defeat and draws in the two six-point matches would be our ideal preference today. Although if there has to be a winner in either of those matches, I'd suggest Huddersfield beating Cardiff, and Burnley beating Fulham, would be better for us than the other way? The small gap which Palace have opened up on the six of us could really be cemented down if they beat Watford at home. It would take them right out of the battle.
Desperately want a win today bearing in mind the other games at the bottom...I know the logic of not worrying, plenty of games left (especially against the lower sides), but psychologically very important to keep up and avoid having a gap to close. Want to be in the position where a win moves you up table....not in the position where we need a couple of wins and hope results go our way. Plug away and keep up should be our mantra...though hoping for annihilation of all opposition is also acceptable.
Good debut for Nasri all things considered, probably out of our wage structure but he would've been great for us
