The Brighton game Saturday is gonna be very interesting. Are we in for a hammering,or are we gonna get something from the game. Head says we are in for a tanking, heart hopes we can get a result. What ever the result we need a performance. Let's hope Millen can put a side out who shows passion, commitment, and pride.
Had we played it yesterday, I think we might just have scraped out with some sort of semblance of respectablity however we have a habit of starting very slowly coming back from these 2 week breaks and if recent history is repeated, I fear for us a bit. No doubt Keith will have the boys running their socks off this week and we won't be short of fitness and I expect us to play a high energy, closing down game but to beat Brighton, its guile that we need...
My sentiments also prem always dodgy after the breaks, but has that been because players have come back less fit than could have been, injury knock wise...cant remember much about last seasons breaks, did we lose a couple of players due to knocks???
This will be my first game of the season so hopefully City will win, or not lose. I did miss the beginning of last season so never saw a Copout in charge game so hoping like last season my first few games will see City not lose. The one thing I am looking forward to is to see Vincente of Brighton. I have been a fan of his for many years and was one of the best wingers in the world a few seasons back. Guess we will see whether he still has it or not. It will be a good match between Vicente and Spence who both have pace and flair.
LL NO no NO NO NO no in goal will be Marv striker will be DJ 2 wingers will be Wilson and Spence NM Deano and Clarkie the defence midfield will be ADDY WOOLY MCG AND CISSE Brighton will be so confused as to whom they mark, City go 2 up in first 2 minutes, they then revert to normal, but DJ goes up with NM this still causes confusion with Deano in goal DJ scores after 4 mins, and swaps with Spence AFTER HAVING HIS ARMS TIED BEHIND HIS BACK TO STOP HAND BALLS IN THE PENALTY AREA Spence uses his height at a corner to get the ball down for NM to blast home 4-0 ....ANY CHANCE b&a have of scoring is lost as their strikers fall over in stitches with DJ coming at them like a demented penguin, whistle goes for half time....
Don't like saying it but 2-0 to Brighton, regardless of whom Keefer picks or the formation.. It will be good to compare the motvation style of Gus Poyet and Keefer and the reaction of the team.
Can't see anything other than a Brighton win I'm afraid. I'll go with 1-0 to them.................it'll be one more nail in Millens coffin though on the brighter side
Let me see, are you 10 points clear yet -ah, I see.... What a sad, bitter and twisted character you are.
