nah i dont think he would, he suits your system and has grown as a player but he wouldnt suit the united, chelsea or city set up or arsenal hes not technical enough for them and probably wouldnt get into spurs or everton midfield either based on their systems and setups
System is an important factor but his technical ability passing, first touch, tackling is extremly good.
BBC have the squad profile as follow: 1 Brad Jones 2 Glen Johnson 3 Sanchez Jose Enrique 5 Daniel Agger 6 Fabio Aurelio 7 Luis Suarez 8 Steven Gerrard 9 Andy Carroll 11 Rodriguez Maxi 12 Daniel Pacheco 14 Jordan Henderson 16 Sebastian Coates 18 Dirk Kuyt 19 Stewart Downing 20 Jay Spearing 21 Leiva Lucas Liverpool website as follow: 1. Jones 2. Johnson 3. Enrique 5. Agger 6. Aurelio 7. Suarez 8. Gerrard 9. Carroll 11. Maxi 14. Henderson 16. Coates 18. Kuyt 19. Downing 20. Spearing 21. Lucas We can seek clarification from Liverpool. You are 100 percent right, because I saw his name in the order you mentioned before.Like Gerrard his surname is used, also Carragher.Which one is the surname of Lucas.? Leiva or Lucas.?
ive never seen lucas split a defense with a pass ive only ever seen him do crab football 5 yard sideways passes, correct me if i am wrong though i dont see him all that often of late.
I think he is a good player that could adapt to any of the top 4 teams at the moment. Rated him more than Mireles in all honestttyyyy
You are wrong, last season and this season so far, his passing has become very effective. This is why we gush over him. Not defence splitting but effective forward passing that starts attacking moves. Gone is the sideways passing.
Fair enough then i can only comment on what ive seen, his crab football was so cautious it was unreal, i have to sit through that everytime i watch everton side to side side to side back to side side to back boring! why not try a forward pass, oh wait its phil jagielka the return of the rhino and his 60 yard air balls straight out for a goal kick.
Fair enough - I think this is one of those agree to disagree moments. Personally I would have Carrick ahead of Lucas unless I had some top quality attacking midfielders / playmakers like Xavi, Iniesta, Sneijder and so forth who I wanted to leave relatively free from defensive duties. Portuguese and Brazilians often have their first names on their shirt and team sheet, possibly cos they have two surnames (mothers and father's). Ronaldo's full name is Ronaldo LuÃs Nazário de Lima and Cristiano Ronaldo's is Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro, so bizarrely enough Cristiano Ronaldo is his first name! Same deal with Romario, although others like Figo have their surname on their shirt.
Lucas Destroyer & Creator lol tbh i actually think he could do really well for us, from what ive seen on him on the VT he looks well prepared for the premier league but if leicester rejected hm and bought beckford i can only thik hes absolutely appauling but il get behind the lad and hope his physical presance will get him the goals we need this season, other than that its anichebe and all jokes aside im better than him i really am.
My Spanish friend tried to explain the whole surname/married name/children's name to me, I concluded that nicknames are often best for us mere Brits.
Regarding names, a lot of old european cultures used a patronymic system, which still survives in Iceland. A child takes their father's (occasionally mother's) first name, rather than a family name. So if Sven Jonsson has a boy called Bjorn, the boy is called Bjorn Svensson and his boy might be called say, Lars Bjornsson. A daughter of Bjorn would be called say, Helga Bjornsdottir ( Bjorn's daughter) The singer Bjork's name is Bjork Guomundsdottir. Apparently, it causes grief for Icelandic families at foreign airports because the kids never have the same name as their parents or even each other. It occurs in Welsh a bit as well.
