It gets hot here... I probably would wear them longer in UK. And I have about 6 or 7 pairs of trousers so it's only once every 3 or 4 weeks I'm actually washing them.
Do you at least rotate them to let them air out? I hope you don't go commando. / Update... Just to clarify, by rotate I mean not wear the same pair in consecutive days... I don't mean wear them back to front some days...
Actually with a good pair of jeans you shouldn't wash them at all ... pretty grim but if it's quality denim washing will just spoil all the wear you put into them as they form to your body and undo all that. Some people will put them in the freezer for a bit if they're very dirty which kills the bacteria and takes any odour away Dress or suit trousers / chinos I would only ever take to a dry cleaner. Same for any nicer garment actually
Well I wear proper trousers to work, so I wear the same pair for 5 days in a row. Then they get 2 day break, then another 5 days.
One reason I don’t wash my jeans very often is because of that. They go all hard and stiff again and feel super uncomfortable.
I only dry clean if I have to. (And I tend to avoid "dry clean only" items if I can) . If it's a dry clean only item and small enough, I'll dry clean it myself rather than pay to have someone else do it.
somewhere on another forum on the internet someone is talking about their co-worker who wears the same trousers everyday. I try not to even wear same shoes two days in a row. (Extends their life if given time to breathe between uses). I alternate between my three pairs of dress shoes throughout the week. A pair of Clark's will last me several years doing this. Blue polo guy is wearing a blue polo again today, same shade. Just for Mito, I looked at his legs... He's wearing olive trousers... I will see if they're olive again on Monday.
i wear the same pair of trousers 4 days in a row for work before i wash them (plus mufty day friday so wear what i want) provided i haven't dropped anything on them. Different shirt every day but generally wear my shirts twice before i wash them.
In school in England I typically wore same trousers each day too, thinking about it. It's very different when you get hot sticky humid weather though. I put a clean shirt on each day, sometimes if I've been out in the heat a lot, I might actually change shirt midday (not if at work, but if at home). If I do something like, cut the grass, it's a given that my shirt is changing.
I dont wear shirt and trousers anymore as do diferent type of job nowdays. When i used to though dif shirt each day. Only time that never happened is when i hadnt made it home from night before and just went back to work wearing same clothes ****ing dirty stop out
