    Does anyone?

The only paper I buy is The Evening Distress, one of the local ****ty parochial rags, and that's only for the crossword and the puzzles in the middle pages.

Not worth wiping your arse on, even for Leigh Griffiths obviously.

This from the guy that thinks gambling and alcohol is a good way to alleviate mental anguish?

Look Pudley I am as sympathetic as the next guy when it comes to people with mental health issues. Did I say anything about Griffiths going to watch Hibs whilst off sick?

No I didn't. Why? Because I see nothing wrong with going to support his team and getting out and about. It's good for him.

Bookies and beer isn't. Simple as that.

If he were a Rangers player I'd be saying the same thing.

    Would you?

    Aye ... Of course.

I don't see anything wrong with what he did .

It was a nothing story but the rags blew it up

If he is suffering from alcoholism and gambling then of course it's an issue .

But a day oot with mates ...aye, sack the ****.

Ban bookies and alcohol as well.

And there in lies the problem big chap. Griffiths is a well known face. There was no way he was going to go to the racing and not be spotted and filmed. There was little chance, in this day and age that the tabloids wouldn't have the pictures before the last race had run.

How do you think being plastered all over the Sun helped with his mental instabilities?

Do you not think that's an issue for the Sun rather than Leigh Griffiths?

Well you can't really blame a Shyster paper for being a Shyster paper can you. It's what they do.

Not at all. He should use a wee bit of common sense when it comes to kicking about though. Going to the races was always going to attract attention and attention from the tabloids is the last thing he needs.

He could have placed a few bets online and got a few cans in but no doubt the paper would have got wind of that and the headline that follows would go along the lines of :

MENTAL CASE'S DRINKING AND GAMBLING SHAME,

Celtic star Griffiths refuses to listen to medical advice..... etc
