Loved Craven Cottage in the cup last year, among my favourites so will go back next if I get a ST and we're playing them.
I would think it could set them back a bit at this stage of the season. Imagine playing your home games in a stadium you have never played in on a pitch you weren't used to. It would be like all your home games were at a neutral venue. Yes I know it is/will be their new "home" but, without even playing a few friendlies there it will be as strange to them as it will be to the opposition.
It’s been an utter embarrassment to the premier league mate. Apparently now scheduled for late March as the fire system can’t be certified which is rather funny as they are second to none for fire drills during games.
I tell you what's embarassing...a club rich with a racist culture ..not a stadium delay Stupid chavvy kaants
Spurs put their own preferred subcontractors in, immediately undermining the PC. Spurs put their own project managers on the construction site, further undermining their PC. PC was unable to coordinate 3rd party contractors due to this which meant delays and therefore costs were directly attributable to Mr Levy. Basic procurement problems with materials. Health and safety problems. Misuse of drugs policy breaches. Thy stadium will not be completed this season, looking at the stories I’d be surprised if testing passes first time and building control don’t rip them a new arsehole. If anybody on this site ever tries to tell us Levy is a genius again then this is testament to him being the biggest ****wit in PL history. He’s done the equivalent of letting his entire squad leave for free and the fans will pay for every penny of it.
Also, you know there dozens of Arsenal, Chelsea and West Ham shirts and merch buried in the foundations of that stadium. It's cursed I tell ya !
Also, don't they have to hold operational test days before they can 'go live' with the stadium and get everything signed off from building regs, local council etc ? i.e make sure it's safe and operational and that all the staff, security know what they are doing and can manage a fire evacuation etc ?
Their fire strategy will be certified without performing actual drills, but yeah building control will need to sign it all off, although that’s done along the life of the build rather than at the end. There’ll be more delays though, no doubt about it.
