Ive decided to do a thread on its own for this rumour because it would in my opinion be a game changer for us in our quest for promotion if we can make it happen.

The lads prolific at this level ..

Better than one in two at this level.

This could be the difference between going up automatically or the playoffs.

Sounds good, he could be the one to fill Maja's boots, if he decides to leave.

Will Grigg replied to the lads comment with Red and White balls and a shush emoji. Think of it as you will.

Seems weird that we are landing targets so early in the window.
We must be doing some work on recruitment in preparation for the window - very unlike SAFC

    No. Stop that right there.

Feels like this one is happening and as I said initial link, I think it would be a promotion clincher.

I think a good few of us suggested trying to get him pre-season, he’s the a league One goal machine after all.

Some confusing comments from the Wigan manager on Grigg, he's saying that he believes that his best 11 includes him...yet he's not playing him. He says his best front four is Grigg and three other fellas but when the other three aren't all available he can't play him, doesn't make a lot of sense.

I guess he's trying to big up his importance in the light of another bid being made but it's daft to talk about what a key first team player someone is when they're available and you're not picking them.

It suggests that he knows he's on his way out if he's worrying about the fee doesn't it.

I think there’s clearly something in it, and it would be a great signing.

Talk is that our opening bit was a shambles though.

Typical SAFC putting in a crap bid. We were told that cos of the bumper crowd on Boxing day there would be an extra 300k for transfers in January. SD said that!
So why risk letting another club beat us to him? Just offer 500k and get the deal done ffs! Apparently we offered around 200k but SD denied that so not sure tbh.

Everybody with abit of buisness sense starts off with a cheeky bid to test the water. Its the same as when you buy a house you always start off with a cheeky bid about 10k less. The fact we finally have owners that have abit of common sense instead of throwing big money straight away to buy a player should be embraced in my opinion and not whinged about.
