We had jake on the drugs charge and tom Hudd form fell off a cliff. He couldn't be arsed till the play offs.

Just read the HDM article regarding City’s chance of promotion. Of course there is a real chance of promotion from this position. We just need investment of about four good players and we have a great chance. Our wingers if we keep them are causing havoc down both sides and we are on a great run of form. We have let two go, maybe three so we could reinvest in a real chance of a push for the playoffs. Why do the HDM always look on the black side and give the owners such an easy time of it. It really pisses me off.

If we signed a couple of trannies and fed the squad on full-English breakfasts they'd like us a lot more.

Until the owners state that they will be pursuing promotion then it doesn't matter what the HDM, you or I think, there is absolutely no indication or reason to think they will invest anything in the squad

Hull City have made an enquiry to Liverpool for winger Ben Woodburn who is to be recalled from his loan spell at Sheffield Untied. Blackburn and Brentford also interested.

Could be a good move if it happens.

An advantage for us getting him could be that Liverpool may feel that Adkins might 'Wilsonise' Woodburn as he did with, erm, Wilson, whose development had also hit a sticky patch before joining us.

Don't know much about Woodburn except Liverpool have great hopes for him and he went to Sheffield United has an exciting loan signing, however don't think it went well and he hasn't played that many games for them. He is only 19 and hopefully has a great future but if we do get him let's hope he has more of an impact for us because I think he was a bit of a disappointment for them. Obviously he his still learning but if he is anywhere near has good has our last Liverpool loanee i would be happy. Don't know what went wrong at Sheffield United, lack of form, didn't settle in, they had better players in his position? Who knows but if he does come let's hope a fresh start works all round.

It has been confirmed that Liverpool youngster Ben Woodburn has returned to his parent club after an unsuccessful loan spell with Sheffield United.

Our recent fantastic run of results has given everyone at the Club and supporters fresh optimism as we embark on the second half of the season.

To build on this positive momentum on the pitch we have no intention of selling key players. We are currently working closely with Nigel to support him to further enhance our squad, and therefore give us a great opportunity to close the gap to the top six and end the season on a high.

The recent form is a testament to the hard work and dedication that goes on behind the scenes at the Club, so a big thank you to Nigel, the players, and all of our staff.

    Up The Tigers!

    Vice Chairman, Hull City
