... only if they have a particular penchant for inaccurate comparisons / analogies ... you see I first ventured on to the Prem after we were promoted (ergo we were now in the Prem) ... not after we had won the title ... hope that clears things up

No, I've got ****ing used to it.

 

You've proved my point ... whilst things do change in football they don't tend to change that dramatically very often ... the top 6 next season will likely be the same as this (although the order may change)... I also expect us, Everton, West Ham and Wolves to be battling for the next few spots (with a couple of others) because, behind the top six, we will likely invest the most of the remaining teams ... whilst that doesn't guarantee anything, it does give you a fair chance of staying around the same area ... there will always be the odd surprise, like Burnley last season .... but, on the whole, the Prem is a little predictable (with one notably exceptional season)

 

But it wasn't us who made us "champions elect".

It was matth.

Only takes a couple of poor signings and a really poor managerial appointment. You'll have to do better at replacing Claude than we did
