Mornin' Dave. Mornin' all First great debate here yesterday. Very tricky emotive subjects and yet conducted with respect I certainly learnt something Here in sunny Cadiz a bit nippy. But yesterday we saw 20C so cannot complain. At the moment I'm waiting three deliveries: 20 Kgs of traditional English supplies (including more Christmas puds - bought in sales. I'm getting tight in my old age ), 2 books of Flamenco guitar music (to further my new year resolution), and a new SIM for my mobile. It seems the more I follow the tracking the slower their journey to my house becomes. At least before tracking I'd just forget about them until they arrived, but now I waste time looking at slow progress that I cannot impact. Does make you wonder if technology is worth it Anyways onwards and upwards. Have a good day one and all
Morning kc, I love eating vegetarian steak and chips .This is where the cow/bull has been fed nothing but grass and hay.
Morning all. Grey and damp here today. I had a list of things to do outside, but looks as if that will have to be put on hold. Still there are things to do indoors. I might even come across some of the things that got moved when we had the family here. I don't think the dogs could have eaten some of the metal objects.
Well my food supply arrived. According to the tracking it is "At delivery depot" but it is actually on my kitchen table . Now I need to get down to making some treacle tarts. Whether they'll be as good as Mr Kiplings' I'm not too sure. Spoke to my Toon mate and he says the plan is a very light team for their reply as Ashley has made it clear there is no money and they need all senior players fighting the survival battle. And with Blackburn being safely set in mid table they have good reason to go all out for a cup run. So looks like we may get Blackburn. But you can never tell in the Cup. Sometimes the kids pull off the unlikely. But I'd hope we have a great chance of being in the 5th round come monthend. Cheers
Well I started a good discussion yesterday, thanks to all for excellent input done in a good spirit, I always find you all thoughtful in your opinions on this great board.
Morning all. Bright and sunny, but not a totally cloud free sky. The birds that visit the garden to feed are becoming rather excessive, and the supplies of peanuts, fat balls etc will not last forever. Maybe I should invest in a small drone to control the number of flights into the landing zone.
Morning all. 7AM train to Edinburgh and returning on 6.30 PM train. Gonna be a long day Have a good 'un one and all.
Morning all. A cold northerly wind this morning and little sign of the sun. It doesn't make one feel inclined to do a lot outside. My neighbours retreat to the warmth of their homes when it is like this, and you can go for days without seeing them. The elderly lady across the road has people pop in to check that she is alright, and get supplies for her. The meals on wheels service is very active and goes to the next hamlet with food for one resident who has been treated for some ailment for as long as I have lived here. There is also an extensive home help system operating, so the elderly are looked after fairly well.
Morning all. Cloudy and not very warm today, but it is still dry. Woken early by the phone ringing, but it was a wrong number from a UK mobile. It didn't seem worthwhile going back to bed, so an early start to the daily round. Have a good day whatever you may or may not have planned.
