HK has scored 20 goals for the fifth successive season.
First ever player to do that for Spurs.

    Central midfield was poor tonight.
Dembele of a couple of seasons ago is missed.
I'm surprised that there have been no signings in this area because it's a weakness against the top sides

So from where is the improvement going to come to beat City if we get there?

If you had said 18 months ago that our main midfield pairing for about 20 matches was going to be Winks and Sissoko most of us would have assumed a bottom half finish.....I think Chelsea have signed three or four central midfielders since we signed Wanyama. Doesn't seem to have helped much.

Nearly home now. We were shocking, miracle we managed to win, a decent team would’ve put 3 in against us at least.

Our ****ing about at the back was shocking. All in all a **** performance but loving the win, thought Rose was good actually.

    The Good

    1) Ohhhhh Mousa Sissoooooookkkkkkkkoooooooo
    2) Kane
    3) I feel kinda dirty for this but watching Hazard... what a player!
    4) Winks...couple of stray passes but work rate, making himself available, keeping the ball moving and winning some crucial tackles
    5) Gazzaniga keeping yet another clean sheet
    6) Sanchez

    The Bad
    1) Only a 1 goal lead
    2) Eriksen was so poor all night imho ... if you are having a bad game the least you can do is run yourself into the ground for your team mates and fans like Dele and Son did!

    The ugly
The refereeing was truly atrocious throughout. No consistency, pointless "advantages", and bad decisions throughout.

    In my opinion after a run of;
    Arsenal away
    Everton away
    Bournemouth home
    Wolves home
    Cardiff away
    Tranmere away
    Chelsea at home
since December 19th ( just 20 days ) I think it was a great effort.

Thought Winks was shocking again. And this isn’t based on the fact I don’t rate him, I just thought he was woeful. Worked hard but you need more than that. Gave away possession, lost possession, offered very little through the middle again. Though despite the fact I thought he was poor and don’t rate him, I didn’t like some of our fans sarcastically applauding his substitution, a lot of “89 minutes too late” and “waheeey!!!” being said, that ain’t on, I may slate the odd player on here but at games they should always be given support.

Also thought Gazza’s distribution was shocking. He’s usually so reliable with his feet, must’ve counted at least three times he kicked the ball out for throw-ins. Other than that though he had yet another good game. Really starting to believe he could be a new number one within a year or two. £3m bargain, that’s now 8 games for Spurs and 8 wins. And to think Chelsea paid £70m for Arrizabalolga.

Agree on Hazard, he can be majestic when “on it”, gonna make it all the more better when he joins Real in the summer :)

was at the opposite end of the ground to the Chelsea fans...he got a decent send off around us.
I think people are expecting him to be a driving forward dynamic midfielder but what I am seeing is a hod carrier...and I am not being derogatory.
In my view a lot of his good defensive work and tidying up gets overlooked but that in not what he is being asked to do. He is clearly following team instructions and allows freedom for Dele, Eriksen and Son to operate...the problem tonight was Chelsea did a number on us as Sarri set them up better than the last time we played.

Guess me and you ain't ever gonna agree on him tbh...
but at least we agree the Grealish is ****e <whistle>

Kane scoring tonight...can't watch penalties ... we missed the last few I watched so I close my eyes at matches...pointed my phone and prayed for the best...almost threw the bloody thing away in the mad celebrations <laugh>

I also sit opposite the away end, lot of jeered and sarky remarks near me, like I said I don’t rate the guy, nor do I think he played well but I never agree with jeering your own player. I actually think he gives the AMs less freedom because he’s very rarely providing them with service. Eriksen and Alli are often coming from deep to collect the ball. This is where we need someone different, prime Dembele would get the ball into the AMs after carrying it forward, thats what we need. Our AMs can cause havoc to any defence on the planet but they need to be “fed” quickly in order to do so.

As for Grealish, wash your mouth out!

What block do you sit, mate? That looks a very similar view to me albeit a bit higher up. I’m in 131.

I was at the other end and the guy next to me said Winks and Sissoko should be the first names on the team sheet. Clearly a marmite player.

    Back from the game.

First up, <applause> to all of those who made up the crowd. Given the top tier was closed and it was Wembley, I thought the place was 'up for the fight' when Chelsea had us penned in during the second half. It seemed to raise the players and got us through. My voice is bollocksed and there were lots of fans in Club Wembley really roaring the boys on.

We played a ****ing weird game tonight. We let them come at us pretty much throughout and rode our luck a bit (well a lot, actually!). I hope we don't intend to do that again in the second leg because eventually they'll score, no matter how we defend.

Michael Oliver was a ****ing disgrace, he bought everything they had to sell. If he'd judged the VAR decision, HK would have been booked. We'd better get someone else next time!

The back 4 and Paulo were fantastic.

I need sleep. I've not been well.

Tottenham defended really well it wa a very good mature defensive display from them. I never thought that Chelsea were going to score they had 1 clear cut chance. As a Newcastle fan I am amazed how well Sissoko has done the last couple of months he looks like a new player Poch has done a great job with him and Tottenham.

Oliver Skipp he must trust him a lot he reminds me of Harry Winks. Beautiful ball he played to Llorente in the Tranmere cup tie. Son was quieter today but he cannot have a blinnder every week he's been superb the last couple of months to. Brilliant result considering Spurs did little in attack. Ref was spot on with the pen he did really well as well.

Block next to me then, I’m row 19.

You get all sorts at the moment. Generally a lot of those who sat in Park Lane at WHL are in these blocks, hence why there’s a half decent atmosphere in them but you still get some tourists or unusual faces who aren’t quite used to what the Park Lane fans are all about, lol.
