There's three massive young players in the Eredivisie currently, De Jong, Lozano and De Ligt. The records are going to be smashed this summer, at least 40 million each. De Ligt is an extremely mature defender for his age. Frenkie de Jong has a very unique style of play which I think suits Spain or German football more than the physical English or Italian leagues. Lozano is now on his seconds season at PSV and is eyeing money. Buying him now would be a mistake as the chance of him going bust is high in my opinion. He needs to stay 2 more seasons to just settle, develop some more and then move to a bigger league. De Ligt is ready for a move but Frenkie de Jong isn't. He needs two more seasons to mature and show he can maintain the level of play he has shown the past year. Good (ready) targets ready for a transfer: Ziyech (A R/LMF, Germany or Spain league preferred, mid-tier PL) Jeroen Zoet (GK, Germany Italy) Hendrix (MF, Low-tier PL, Germany) Targets to keep an eye on: Tagliafico (Very promising, tough and has brilliant anticipation skills) Rosario (Young but smart midfielder, good technique) Dolberg (has potential but doesn't create chances on his own, good spatial awareness but struggles to find the goal himself) Bergwijn (Absolute must watch this season, this guy has it all. Speed, tactics, technique and he scores a lot of goals for a winger)
and they are a **** and very dysfunctional football team and have given their head coach a 100m guaranteed contract when he hadnt been in the game for 10 years
De Jong's supposedly in negotiations with Barca for a summer move, as they're intent on hoarding central midfielders to stop Los Ladrones replacing Modric What do you make of Donny van der Beek? He's been linked with us recently and strikes me as the player we wish Harry Winks was.
Currently on the same level as Davy Klaassen... Who? Exactly... Way too early. The boy can read the game, is tough as nails and has sub-par technique. Would however drown in the PL as he needs to mature in his game. Does have his ups and downs. If he can up his game he will be a top talent.
did i mention that their old stadium is called the black hole. Also seems to have vacuumed up all the raiders talent
Not sure of the reliability of the source....HBIC will know better Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has placed a £225m price tag on Denmark midfielder Christian Eriksen, 26, amid interest from Real Madrid. (AS - in Spanish)
Mundo Deportivo is the main one, with Sport backing them up In other news... Pavard Watch ****. Urge To Break Furniture Watch The Times have reported that, even though Dembele is set to leave this window, the club aren't planning on bringing in a replacement in January and are instead focusing on some major investment in the summer. Hopefully this is utter bollocks, given we could easily sign Barrios now to give the centre midfield some non-injured rotation options
I can't abide Chelsea and it's kinda funny but Bayern are taking the ****ing piss here... https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/46808148 "We really want to sign him," said Bayern's director of sport Hasan Salihamidzic.
Chelsea are about to get a transfer ban for tapping up youngsters, by all accounts, so **** them. This is standard Bayern bullshit, though. They bully their own division and try to spread it about a bit, too.
Eriksen Watch: The Danish midfielder was asked about the rumours linking him with a switch to the Bernabeu and claims talks are still ongoing over new Spurs deal https://www.goal.com/en/news/erikse...-real-madrid-links/1eyzlfaek6rcy1wvk4vsjw53e3
Exodus Watch Bilbao DoF Rafa Alkorta has stated the club are interested in bringing Fernando Llorente back to the club (as well as Javi Martinez, Ibai Gomez and Ander Herrera), although he seemed to be leaning more towards bringing him back in the summer when his contract's up Bundesliga Rando Watch It's that time of the week and this time it's Hertha Berlin striker Davie Selke being linked with us as the latest victim of having to be Harry Kane's understudy, and while it could easily be handwaved away as a lower-tier German outlet looking for clicks (after all, have you ever heard of Fussball Transfers before just now?) but he does seem to fit the Janssen/Llorente mold as he's 6'4" and has a potent aerial threat, coupled with him being a useful poacher in the area as he's modeled his game on his idol Mario Gomez, plus he has an £18m release clause so we can easily get him for £16.95m
Chelsea need a ST as bad as we need a CM. Anyone want a bet that they get the ST but we don’t get the CM.
