Unfortunately i have not met any WFC players, however i have watched them train and they were about 10-15 feet away. I have shaken Frank Lampard's hand though at the CFC open bus parade in 2005.

I've been in the dressing room on 2 occassions before a match (when I was mascot and when my sons were), had a piggy-back off Nigel Callaghan (Family Enclosure children's Xmas party) and those events were good for a few autographs as were all the Open Days with the players sitting at tables under umbrellas in front of the Vic Rd terrace.

I went into the dressing rooms on match days in the mid-fifties. I don't really remember which players I met, but couldn't believe the size of the bath.

Strange what sticks in your memory. ;)

i've met a fair few over the last few years, mainly at pre-season games and at Coventry where often we've waited for the team to come out and get on the coach...and they stop and chat to everyone. Not the last two games there though, coz we didn't win, so nobody wanted to wait for them lol

'Met' quite a lot of the players in the Open Days in the 80s, and got many autographs, including Barnes, Callaghan et al. Also got lots of the signatures of the 03/04 players down the training ground... but unfortunately it was them signing share forms!!
