Well it turns out I can’t bloody go to the final of its 31st march. Am working in Barnsley that afternoon. Will he Seriously pissed off if we make it
The 30th ain't the 31st fella. Plenty of flights from Glasgow to London The day we played Charlton in the play off final I had an exam at University in Scotland in the morning. It was impossible to get there on time. Mega annoying
If we get there I will be pulling everything out the bag to be at Wembley - Dunno how but I’ll be trying!! Bart
That's the whole point of being in the competition tbf. It's only a few games more and we're one of the best teams in it, a rare position for us.
Jerome Sinclair is set to make his first start in a month tonight with Jack Ross admitting the on-loan Watford man has been frustrated at his lack of first-team chances. The striker has found life tough on Wearside, scoring only two goals to date and finding himself behind 15-goal leading scorer Josh Maja , and the fit again pair of Charlie Wyke and Duncan Watmore , in the pecking order. But while Ross says he frequently discusses the situation with the player, as things stand all parties are happy for Sinclair's loan to continue until the end of the season as Sunderland continue their push for promotion. And Sinclair is expected to line up against Newcastle United U21s in the Checkatrade Trophy third round clash at the Stadium of Light, which will be his first start since the FA Cup defeat against Walsall four weeks ago. "Jerome is somebody I speak to all the time," said Ross. "I've said previously how much I like him as a young man, and his attitude to coming here on loan has been really good." https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/spo.../frustrated-jerome-sinclair-set-rare-15642830
I like the sound of captain Watmore, if you're looking for someone to lead by example there's none better. Same mould as Honeyman, they might not be loud personalities but sometimes actions speak louder than words.
I wasnt his biggest fan but he played well against Peterborough, picked up an injury and Maja took his chance , I wouldn't right him off yet.
