    The latest recruitment ads for the British Army have worked so well that they're actually causing serving members of the army to quit upon finding out their photos are used with such encouraging captions as "Snow flakes: Your army needs YOU and your compassion" and "Me me me millennials: your army needs YOU and your self-belief" - yet in spite of this Gavin Williamson thinks they're a good use of taxpayer's money, while James Cleverley once again reminded people how unsited he is for his surname by blathering about...something or other, but it means the ads are good.

    I couldn't help but notice the difference in how Twitter responded to two incidents

    Arron Banks' mob harass Anna Soubry: "It's terrible", "This shouldn't happen" etc
    The same mob harass Owen Jones just minutes later: "The twat deserved it", "That's what you get" etc

    I can't help but notice certain parallels with what's been happening north of the border with Alex Salmond and what happened west of the Severn with Carl Sergeant
