Absolutely Saf, they have probably already committed assault, also do they have any right on the public highway to tell you what you can and cannot do, my guess is it would only be within the boundaries the club own, you certainly would not expect a 14 year old to be aware of where boundaries start and end. In law, it is not a criminal offence to film anyone. This is the legal side of that; It is not illegal to take photographs or video footage in public places unless it is for criminal or terrorist purposes. ... Taking a photo of a person where they can expect privacy (inside their home or garden) is likely to be a breach of privacy laws.
I’m guessing their stewarding is sub contracted to some security firm as opposed to employing their own? They’re usually jumped up security guards with an attitude problem, than sensible crowd control stewards in my experience. The worst I’ve come across were at Boro, absolute ****ers.
To be fair the steward told him already that he couldnt do it and was explained no one was allowed. The little ****er had to go chance it again and pulled out all his acclamations and then tried to lawyer/hiag his way out of it when he was swiped. He was lucky he was still allowed in cheeky litlte ****e.

How i saw it, the steward had no legal powers to stop him using his phone to video outside the ground. The lad was not in breach of match day ticket terms. If anything the steward commited an unlawful detaining of a child unless it was a citizens arrest or done by a police officer. I use the term unlawful because the lad was not in breach of the peace. Basically you can't just grab a 14 year old and detain them just because you are wearing a yellow or orange jacket. This aint North Korea
I thought it was with you taking the role of kim jong un If it wasnt in chelsea ffc territory then the steward shouldnt have a right to tell him what to do. Pc plod seemed to side with the steward though so im assuming it was on chelsea fc grounds.
As you lads will know, I rarely agree with anything that brb says or does, and that I am particularly concerned at his complete lack of any musical talent, but I am forced to agree with him on this issue. CFC has acted disgracefully over this issue, and I suspect that the club will rue the day. Some of you may view this 14 year lad as nothing more than an attention seeking busybody, but that does not justify the way he was treated, anymore than there was any justification for the way I was treated in the recent Doxx-gate scandal.
