I see Calum Burton on loan at Chesterfield and got sent off, but then outfield player who went in goal saved a penalty.
Bid on the table. We can only try. Did you know who he was until his name came up at the back end of last week ? Someone is doing their homework.
I live in jockland and seen him lots...can play well once in every 5 games. Dirty, sneaky player. But a new challenge can change a player I know. But not for me I'm afraid.
I think he is probably referring to Elphick being recalled .. but given thats out of our hands dont really see how we could have prevented it
Two deals have fallen through already... https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/sport/football/hull-citys-transfer-frustrations-revealed-2400154
I know Nigel a very positive man, but he must be thinking " here we go again" Ehab done him again with his bullshit talk about backing him"
To be fair, Adkins expectations must be almost as low as ours by now? I go into every window expecting to sell anything of value and then patch up the holes. Anything better than that is a bonus.
You would think we would know the score by now! Did anyone else get a glimmer of hope a few days ago that things might be different this transfer window? A tingle of excitement about possibilities in the New Year before they have cold water poured on them already...The usual, Nigel wants business done sooner than later...We have missed out on players already....How much has been freed up in wages and is that going to be reflected in new additions? Why do I get the sinking feeling that any new players coming in may be dependent on a high earner leaving this window. We have been here before and we know just what is actually going to happen!
I suspect that he's referring to the deals that collapsed earlier - otherwise he might have said that four deals had been lost.
Its a well rehearsed Allam tactic. Just when something might blow up, feed scraps... Bowen and Grosicki will likely go, in spite of what has been said and the 'we tried to get the deals over the line' **** will be rolled out again and some will buy into it.
Philip Buckingham @PJBuckingham Nigel Adkins says two proposed transfers have "fallen through" in recent days. Repeats that money is tight. "I can’t envisage there being any transfer fees."
And so it goes on. No suprise there. ... and some wonder why I'm cup half empty? And yes, was meaning Elphick and Keane in earlier post. 2 wages freed up.
