Hmm. Might do it as normal price is £80 a month so discount is good. Also local one is close so think I’d use it most days. Definitely not signing up in Jan though, be full of weapons

Gym this morning, eased back into it with a chest and tri’s sesh with some sprints on the bike to warm up.

Demoralising watching the lads there who haven’t turned into lazy fat slobs over the festive period... them little mini snickers weren’t worth it I tell ya!

I always feel like than in the new year, thinking that it would be no problem demolishing whole boxes of chocolates and biscuits over xmas because I can work it off again in Jan.

The amount of fat and calories consumed just by picking at sweets over xmas is alarming

I generally lose fat quite quickly, I just know that’s bound to change sooner or later.

I’ll see the true extent tomorrow when I’m doing core.

I'm 45 now so it's harder to lose fat than in was when I was 35, something goes to **** when you're about 42 where everything starts to ache and creak and the beer and kebabs take months to work off rather than a couple of weeks

As you live in a remote location, does the postman have trouble delivering your Woman’s Weekly <laugh>

Already broken my new year resolution not to buy any food that has a red box for fat content, as I've just bought a pack of bacon.
I have just come back from the pool after swimming 1/2 mile so that cancels it out I reckon ....

Amazing how your body/stomach craves what it's used to. Have had a decent breakfast and dinner and my belly telling me not enough, rumbling like ****!

Got a full chicken dinner for tea but have to go to gym before I eat that, I'll be ravenous buy then.

Lot of water in the meantime to substitute for actual food.

Plan to manly hit the treadmill toinguith but will also do as much bench press as possible and use squat rack if available. If they aren't, a variety of whatever is free until they extend the bloody gym, as planned.

Should be quiet, the studes have not returned en masse just yet.

    Today went well.

35g over on protein, just under on fats and 40g under on carbs, but should be there or thereabouts by the end of the week.

I’ve done one visit to the gym since the new year. Planning 3 more prior to midday Saturday. Really need to get back on the wagon.

Got to gym, all he benches taken so did 6k run.
Misjudged it, was rammed full of studes working off their Christmas excesses (which has its benefits visual wise!), I'd expected it to be quite quiet.

Got a bench, did four sets bench press, four sets incline, then same flies.

Was most pleased to be able to piss 6k after doing **** all for more or less a month and shed loads of beer and Christmas food.
Will up that tomorrow, hopefully. If the knees are ok.

Bought some whey isolate and mono creatine earlier from Bulk Powders.

You'll have to tell me how to take the stuff!!

That’s respectable for an old duffer burning off his Xmas excess. I used to love it, I just find it so boring now.

Main aim is to be able to build up distance I can run. Then do it quicker, every so slightly.

I'm supposed to be doing fundraiser 10k for one of our junior football teams in autumn and I'd be chuffed with an hour if I'm honest.

As soon as it's spring I'll be running outdoors, less tedious than treadmill.

You’ll smash an hour. If you train you’ll be able to do 55 mins easy.

    No.

I got into fitness running in my mid 20s. Hated it at first, got fit and then loved it. Literally ran home after work to go for a run.

Then fell out of love with it and now it’s a chore.
