Sadly, Brexit or not, this part of the past will rule the future too .....

Anyone seen the news coming out of Paris of late.
Not good, not good at all.
Just have to wonder why this is not being reported by the beloved BBC.

Having looked for reports all I seem to be able to find in the UK press are reports about Rooney being arrested for being drunk in a public space in the USA. Nothing about Paris on the front pages of the UK national papers or the SKY or BBC web-sites. So it's a little unfair to single out the BBC, perhaps the UK aren't interested in what happens in Paris?

but 2pence here it is on the BBC site

    Love that story.

Will make small adjustments as follows:

    - Replace banker with the big Trump tax beneficiaries,
    - Replace asylum seeker with immigrants,
    - replace singular words with plural,

    and its perfect!

Yeah, like the politicians who send them there, if they had to do the fighting there would never be any wars

I thought it was great the government getting 89 lorries to drive from an old airfield to Dover after the rush hour was over today, to prove it'll all be cushtie when the No Deal Brexit happens. <laugh>

Got me thinking though - all this s*** talking about the Irish border and they're doing feck all over here to get ready for it. <laugh>

From 1st April, migrants won't need to cross the channel in inflatables 10 at a time, they'll be getting aboard scheduled crossings to Rosslare & Dublin in their droves and heading north. <ok>

Piss-up in a brewery springs to mind. <laugh>

I think there is too much ageism about. Just saw this on another site, terrible.

A Group of guys, all turning 40 discussed where they should meet for lunch. Finally it was agreed that they would meet at Weatherspoon’s because the waitresses had big breasts and wore mini-skirts.

Ten years later, at the age of 50, the friends once again discussed where they should meet for lunch. Finally it was agreed that they would meet at Weatherspoon’s because the waitresses were attractive, and the food and service was excellent.

Ten years later, at the age of 60, the friends again discussed where they should meet for
lunch. Finally it was agreed that they would meet at Weatherspoon’s because there was plenty of parking, they could dine in peace and quiet with no loud music, and it was good value for money.

Ten years later, at the age of 70, the friends discussed where they should meet for lunch.
Finally it was agreed that they would meet at Weatherspoon’s because the restaurant was wheelchair accessible and had a toilet for the disabled.

Ten years later, at the age of 80, the friends discussed where they should meet for lunch.
Finally it was agreed that they would meet at Weatherspoon’s because they had never been there before.

No, while I'm sure they'd prefer to stay in the Emerald Isle, there are far more benefits and free houses in the UK. <whistle>
