Disappointing that we didn’t bring Lewis-Potter on earlier for Martin in the second half, he was a waste of a shirt.
shame that, whilst the performance wasn't great following 8 changes we held our own well enough and got done by 2 set pieces, Milinkovic's performance wasn't bad, better than I expected, if he's going to be in and around the 1st team with the right attitude it'll help for the rest of the season
Milinkovic was very impressive. Game changed on the substitutions, ours were unnecessary and Millwall had to do something to get back in the game because they had offered nothing until the three subs came on at once. Positives for me were Milinkovic's performance, Toral until he came off and Long looked safe until that free kick plus Mazuch was a rock until that daft foul which led to the free kick. Suppose Lewis Potter and Sheaf making their debuts is a positive but did Adkins have to bring them on ?
It wasn’t Sheaf’s debut, he played earlier this season in the League Cup. Milinkovic was ok for half an hour that utterly inneffective for the rest of the game. You must’ve had a pretty low expectation for him before the game!
Yeah, Mazuch’s ‘challenge’ was just ridiculous. He does something like that every game. Best if he just stays injured.
Oh well, can't win em all, we've got bigger fish to fry with the league (without gravy, before anyone starts that debate!) Game changed with the subs, theirs effective, ours not, dangerous at only 1 up, to bring on the youngsters. Toral should have stayed on and Milinkovic, who had been impressive was tiring, obviously not match fit, should have gone off. If past history is anything to go by, can we expect Milwall's Ferguson to be a target signing for us, we usually try and buy after they score against us!
