If the object of todays exercise was just to get to the next round then it might just work. If it was to justify our position in the league and the fact that our players mostly get over 30,000 pounds per week, or to give the local fans a rare taste of Premiership football then it is turning out to be an abject failure.
Still decidedly unimpressed going forward and the longer that continues the more pressure there is at the back. No outlet at all.
We just lacked any pace and real quality but think AP did ok . Least he had a shot or two ! Cleverly and Hughes probably best of starters.
Credit to Woking they stuck to their task and were not embarrassed although at time we embarrassed ourselves. I thought Wilmot did ok & Janmaat. until next time, tx for company all, have a good week back to normality.
Scullie I thought those two did well. Anyways through and next a few thoughts from Luther - always great to hear from him. Cheers one and ALL
Yes, all the defence looked comfortable (including Britos) but not much to deal with. Job done and look forward to the draw.
A few more players get some game time, clean sheet and anther one for troy (and he will be needed if we cant get some more forwards in Jan) "All ways look on the bright side of life" COYH
