@baraettmattesvensson It was only 4 degrees at the Valley yesterday, @Clb74 legs must look like a pair of ice poles
I think his biggest mistake was the appointment of Karl Fraeye. There's a thin red line between sanity and madness and giving him the job crossed that line. The whole appointment stank: - he was not caretaker manager but a permanent appointment, they were waiting for a run of form to notify that they've found the right man - literally how many teams did we lose 5,6,7-0 to? - tactically inept and way way out of depth Take Rotherham who was in the same position as us. They appointed Neil Warnock who turned around their season and kept them up. If we made a sane appointment (like Warnock who was out of a job at the time), we'd have remained in the Championship. It was this appointment too where I'd say the vast majority of Charlton fans gave up hope and stopped coming.
In the middle of Karel’s short reign we played Bristol City away on Boxing Day. He made the mistake pre kick off of standing near the away end, and got absolutely slaughtered (I plead guilty). He quickly moved his arse.
Appointing Karel Fraeye took the p*** out of every Charlton supporter. The biggest insult in the history of Charlton Athletic Football Club.
On a par with the Hull 6-0 as one of the worst performances I have seen from a Charlton team in my lifetime. We should have been 5 down by the time we equalised in the last minute(mental celebrations btw), Bristol even missed a penalty.
