Asking alot for him to achieve what he did at club level and to replicate that at international level. Gerrard - Very good Cleverly - Lots of potential. Could be great Wilshere - Overrated Beckham - Very Old Owen - No hope of being picked Rooney - World Class Welbeck - Good Young - Good Mceachran- no idea Rodwell - Average Holt - Who? (this is a joke post right?) Anyway a good team with very few world class player. Far from terrible though. Should make the Quarter Finals or the semis if they young players develop a lot in the next year
Oh yeah this thread is about Messi. Many people criticise his international performances, but if thats what disqualifys him from being the best in the world then i dont know who is. Certainly not Ronaldo and him and Messi are by far and away the best two club players.
