Playing the fringe player didn’t just about keeping others fit but it’s also about keeping those fringe players match fit and in form in case you get injuries.

Need to keep players like Lallana, Moreno, Sturridge somewhat match fit so that they can either come on in games and make a difference or step in should someone get injured or suspended later in the season.

    That's true.

we would not even be debating it if we had Tranmere or Lincoln etc.

Was inevitable, give the kid a chance and Mignolet a game. Surprised he hasn't left yet, Klopp never fancied him and signed the crap Karius and then signed Alisson.
I guess getting paid a sh!t load to sit on the bench isn't too bad

I am presuming karius beat the managers door down after alisson came in and it was easier let that little coward out the door than find someone for mingolet

Speaking of right backs after Clyne went we do also have Camacho who looked bright in pre season games so as another option he could be given a chance

I understand Clyne requested a move, otherwise he will still be around.

True but against lower teams where we dominate the ball could be a decent attacking option from RB. Certainly not first choice but after Milner and possibly Fabinho gives another different option. Klopp certainly shown faith in him and looks like he’ll play tomorrow against wolves

For me, Gomez has always been a CB who can play RB if called upon. He needs to be in the middle.
