It was literally right in front of us with Nathan our side too. He knew he had ran out of options and out of desperation poked it, crouched as if he was running and went into him. Dive perhaps not the right word but it was definitely simulation imo.
I thought he was barged over but I also thought he played for that. If he’d run round him he would have been in. Will look again on the television later.
He was barged over because he crouched and went into him as far as I could see, defender couldn't really get out his way. Pretty sure he wouldn't have got to the ball either.
On another note was a glod atmosphere today, both fans had quiet spells but generally it was pretty lively with some decent banter too. First half was dull but second was blood and thunder proper cup tie and despite the disappointment was quite enjoyable on reflection.
Lacked quality on the pitch (apart from the goals) but entertaining and a good day out. Also met my old football manager before the game too which was nice.
Nice to hear him get a lot of appreciation from the fans today, could see he was touched by it at the end. There was still some utter clown whinging about him non stop though, can't help some people.
Sorry mate. I’ll keep quiet next time. On a serious note, I nearly whatsapp’d you earlier to say it was good that I wasn’t there, when were 2-0 up, as I’ve never seen saints win away
Nearly everyone around me groaned when he cut inside the full back, rather than pass it to Matty.... about 2 minutes into the second half...then BOOM!

Defender moved across Redmond and Redmond went down. Not a pen for me as Redmond was definitely looking for it. Good defending.
Still doesn't beat my "Oh don't ****ing shoot from there Pierre" a second before he found the bottom corner from 35 yards against Brighton.
