    Is there any like-minded lads on here into working out?
    I was massively into it 3 years ago and i was strong as an Ox to be honest without sounding like a nob.

    Im half the man i used to be now, and im not gona even go into why because i share too much on here as it is but im pumped up for this year to be the man I once was so any like minded lads lets do this and share some tips :emoticon-0165-muscl.

    Creatine has a big impact for me after 6 weeks and i lift more than i could imagine but it retains water in the body and i dont like my look. I also use Impact whey protein to stay lean and to build muscle which is what i want . Im going off advice from years ago here. Any other advice would be appreciated

    Use creatine hydrochloride instead of monohydrate and you won’t get the bloat, the downside is it costs more and tastes like salt, but wash it down with a small 100ml of water then drink another glass of water and the taste is gone.

    Many people don’t know that monohydrate should be dissolved to get the most out of it as well. They drink it as it comes in cold water and the majority of it will either stick to the bottle, pass through their body whole or crystallise somewhere inside them. It’ll dissolve in warm water then all you gotta do is top that up with cold water and neck it.

    I like to gym, and just to about to head off to it. I’ve had a month off though, so it’s gonna be ****.

    Don’t take any supplements though.

    Ill try that creatine mate. Im putting an order in on myprotein.com this weekend. Ive lost about 2 stone in muscle over the last year, i need to build back up asap. Its deflating going to the gym now and struggling with weights i used to lift easy.

    I take creatine before and after a session. Always whey protein isolate afterwards and citrulline malate beforehand too.

    Strange thing to do taking creatine pre&post workout, do you take it on non-training days?

    It can be taken either pre or post. I do both.

    Yes. But half the amount.

    Usually a bit less. I don’t measure it exactly, but I’d guess about 7-8g on training days and half that on non training days.

    Does it actually work?

    Heard mixed reviews, although it could be the difference between the hydro and the mono I suppose.
