A tragically weak line up today <doh>

I have no idea why Stevenson is dropped, yet Djiksteel keeps his place.

Ditto, why is Darren Pratley starting.

Surely Ben Reeves is not injured again ?!

We need Williams and Clarke to come off the bench early today.

F*** off, talk about exaggerating. It was probably as busy as me getting off outside the ground here at Chelmsford!

    0-1

Sad to say it, but Djiksteel completely missed the first tackle.

    Djiksteel is being exposed here.

Every attack coming down our right hand side.

Why isn’t Solly playing RB ?

    H/T 0-1

    In truth, that was dreadful.

One shot (Bielik) but zero creativity in the midfield and a horrible chasm down the right hand side of our defence. Fosu has been poor and Pratley invisible.

Bowyer has got the tactics wrong here, and needs to change personnel and formation.

Did it still take a while getting out of Penge on the bus?

What a game and big fat crowd, cracking atmosphere, pity anyone not at this , exactly what football is all about 2 sides going for it , in a ridiculously high state of arousal right now

Djiksteel was our weakness today. if solly had played RB and we had a fit LB we'd have completely bossed the game. all second half they targetted him (for good reason).

if we had a fully fit squad we'd have won, i think.

good atmosphere there today. a genuine 16000 gate.

hopefully bowyer goes and signs a LB this week and maybe a versatile player who can play across the back, because we desperately need it.

A rousing second half. With a stronger bench we would have won.

    784 at Chelmsford.

The 25 Hampton ultras got behind their side, although lost 2-0

Bowyer saying that he has not been told of any Takeover. Good game today and Sunderland looked a class above any team I have seen at the Valley. But a great rousing performance in the second half and we nearly took it. Bit worrying about Bowyers comments.

Charlton put Jekyll and Hyde to shame.

A very poor first half, with Djiksteel culpable for their goal and gaping holes down our right side which McGeady in particular exploited.

After a deserved half time roasting from Bowyer, we came out a different team, fizzing with energy and snapping into the tackle. Sunderland were well drilled but without exceptional quality, and we missed easy chances to have won 3 or 4-1.

A very good crowd, which @ForestHillBilly and I - sitting together like Stadler and Waldorf - put at around 14,500.

    Player ratings today:

    Phillips 7
Djiksteel 3 (the boy needs a rest)
Solly 8 - one back heel in the 2nd half had the crowd on their feet
    Bauer 7 - very solid
    Sarr - 8 - very good today
Pratley 5 - poor and off the pace
fosu - 5 - poor and off the pace
    Morgan - 7 - there's a player there
    Grant - 6
    Taylor-7

Special mention for Jonny Williams - came on for 20 mins, and looked very decent.

Yeah, Williams is a decent player. Its keeping him fit that's the problem.

I'd like to think if we had the likes of Cattermole and Honeyman playing we would have seen that game out. First half we were the better team and should have put the game to bed. Second half it was all Charlton and we were lucky to hold on for a point by the sounds of it.

Good game lads and good luck for the rest of the season <ok>

Flanagan looks a very good player. Strong & fast, should play at a higher level in time.

Last time they told the manager a takeover was imminent, he did a runner and signed for Oxford. Loose lips sink ships.
