The story on that page which was interesting was Liverpool selling one of their top future hopes to Bournemouth for £19m. Ps just noticed your post on this OS
Wow. Had not scrolled down so hadn't seen that. Them signing Clyne was not a surprise with their right back injury issues but they seemed okay upfront with Wilson, King and Mouset - unless Wilson is off somewhere, Chelsea mentioned. If Wilson stays we could make a cheeky offer for King?
See Pilkington is linked to Ipswich. They are sh!te and heading to league 1. Surely he can do better? Theyve had some right garbage of us recently so about time they had a good one.
Just came off the bench and scored 3 against Tranmere in the cup. Potchetino bigging him up and saying he's part of their plans.
Another CB anyone?................. https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport...-news/cardiff-eye-efe-ambrose-leaves-13814227
Apparently can play cb, rb and defensive midfield so versatile. Well regarded by Hibs fans. Been around a bit. Not seen or heard of him before but Scots Prem v English Prem when never played at EPL level? Apparently does a somersault whenever he scores. Not that often then with 26 goals in over 400 appearances. Also seen that Plymouth are after him. Should we really be considering a player who also interests a struggling Div 1 club? Looking for some good paydays in the last few years of his career? Does he have an uncle who is a general in the Nigerian army and wants someone to help him get millions out of Nigeria? Don't let him have your bank account details. At 30 not one for the future.
Bluey - does make you think about what standard he can play at having spent most of his recent years in the Scottish system. Having said that, some cover for what appears to be a limited choice back 4/defensive mid might not be a complete waste of money particularly as he'd be on a free. We've all taken the piss enough about the players we've been linked to as being "one for the future" - at least he'd be "one for the present".
Noticed Matt Phillips not playing nor even on the bench for West Brom today in their FA Cup game - interesting? EDIT - also noticed Nat Clyne doing well at Bournemouth on his debut for them.......0-2 down at half time.
Got to sign someone soon. Phillips has Prem experience and Sparks rates him. What's not to like? Get his signature on the form.
Wages off the books now - that must help the ongoing funding to replace him now................ https://www.skysports.com/football/...ffield-united-ahead-of-loan-move-from-cardiff
Another one from the random selection - Kiril Despodov from CSKA Sofia. More of a winger and certainly not a central striker.
And another one, Clinton N'Jie, from Marseille. A 25 year old Cameroon international. Again more of a winger not a striker. Only played 150 or so games in 7 years. 8 of them at Tottenham over 2 seasons. Not a regular scorer. Looks like we are being linked with almost any European player who fancies a move to the Prem, and more dosh, who doesn't interest a top club.
Be interesting to see how he gets on there especially with Sharp. Didn’t think Sheff U had problems in front of goal?
