The difference is there is not a club England who would be better for his development, and that's quite clear in my opinion. He will rot on the bench of any Prem club. He won't be trusted to go straight ito the first team at any Championship club. The best he can hope for is to be "bedded in" and slowly secure a place. In half a year we will most likely be a Championship club, much bigger than 95% of the rest of them, with better training facilities and a bigger fanbase, in a team he would already know and be well-settled into. To be fair, the one option I hadn't considered is Celtic, which actually could be a great shout. If he ends up there, banging goals in for fun (as I suspect he would) and playing in Europe, fair play to him.
