From the telegraph Jurgen Klopp is considering naming 16-year-old Dutch defender Ki-Jana Hoever in Liverpool's squad for Monday's FA Cup tie at Wolves.
Just a difference of opinion mate To me the FA Cup is a major trophy so we go all out to win it, we have to be sensible with rotation or we'll go out and there is a history of that happening to teams who take this lightly. My team would be... Mingolet Camacho Lovren VVD Milner Hendo Wijnaldum Keita Shaq Studge Mane
I take on board your point of view. Of course we have to rest players and we have to give reserve players a run too. BUT remember this: winning is a habit and it does not matter who plays. A defeat will be 2 defeats in a row and suddenly we are on a potential “run” of 3 defeats or 3 matches without a win if we draw against Brighton.
I'll be watching it, but I won't be bothered if we go out. Against my usual instincts I say we must prioritise the league this time round. Not even a debate imo.
Nothing wrong with prioritising the league but we have the squad to put out a very good team and not a bunch of kids, this game may even help getting match fitness for some.
If we go out with our heads up, I do not care. I just want us to break the curse of being top at Christmas and not winning the league. If we really perform in the FA cup and things failed to work out so be it.
I think it was last time we were top at Christmas, but then played Chelsea and city or something and were like 5th by New Years. Not too dissimilar now, had to play Arsenal and City and our lead is only 4 points
marvellous he's the next big thing but it puts the cup in perspective from klopps point of view. that kid is damned good though.
yeahhhhh big difference was we went for joint top on gd to 6 points behind. we are out into Jan 4 points clear... the race is on... not the mad chase with half a hope. we've a real chance. let's not pussy foot about here. win next 3.
I think this must be close. I think klopp won't use Milner there but we are all biased against Moreno. you could easily have the rest right.
Our next five games in the league. Brighton Away Palace Home Leicester Home West Ham Away Bournemouth Home
