Cook is a PR disaster. If anyone hacked his account (not that anyone did) it would more than likely be at the behest of the powers that be at City, hoping to create an opportunity to get rid of this embarrassing character from the club. The most damning thing that can be said for Cook is that nobody is actually surprised that he is accused of this, or by the fact that if he is guilty of sending the email, it is through his own incompetence.
Of course city fans are out on the media forums defending cook with either it was a hacker or a more weird and sicker view that she isnt really that ill if she can ask for more money for her son because chemo really takes it out of you.The story has already disappeared off bbc ceefax and its impossible to comment on the article in tonights manchester evening news.If it had been a United story it would have displaced tonights england match on ceefax and been serialized by the MEN for days.
honestly not that bothered. It's a horrible thing to say, but it seemed more of a tongue in cheek response to a fairly OTT email meant for someone else. I don't understand why she brought up the fact that she has cancer when trying to get onouha a better contract. Especially annoys me how, in the interview she gave said that- "When I opened up my e-mails and saw the message, it was the worst day of my life, even worse than being diagnosed with cancer" i mean fck me. In the wise words of rupert grint, she needs to sort out her priorities. he shouldn't have sent the message in the first place, but it's not like he's the only one whos made a fairly harsh comment probably in annoyance with someone

OK he probably should have kept that to himself or at least made sure the email goes to the right address, but I think that woman is going way OTT the way she milks the incident. Is she looking for money for sob interviews or damages from the club or what? Someone making a fairly harmless tongue in cheek comment about your cancer is worse than actually having the cancer? 'Cried and cried for hours'? Please.
i never said it was her fault? i just said that it isn't necessary to mention the fact she has cancer in an email regarding her sons deal at man city. She's not exactly an employee, she's representing one i suppose, but that's about it. It's just been incredibly blown out of proportion and no matter how much i hate city, this is probably something that happens every day that people get away with. Cook just got found out and now looks like the twat he is. Something tells me everything will be hunky dory when onouha gets his new contract. His new, considerably improved contract.
