That is you making assumptions. The report has come in for widespead condemnation from the international community that usually dances to Israels tune. When that happens you know it must be bad
<blushing> Blind loyalty!?! Why because I don't try and pin the worlds problems on them and claim that they are that despicable that they exaggerated Holocaust death tolls for political gain.
Yeah that was me <blush> I do actually agree that Israel probably gets a bit of an easier ride from the western world in general because of its history. Then again, whilst not saying it's right, if half of my neoghbours wanted to obliterate my house and family then I'd probably be rather agressive. It's never a great idea to create artifical locations - a visit to milton Keynes demonstrates that.....
FFS man, you have decided to pick and choose these 'facts' to support your argument. You have clearly decided to omit anything remotely anti-Iran and/or pro-Israel. The entire region has seen plenty of crimes comitted and general dodgy occurances. Its precisely people like you that continue to stoke the fires by looking for someone to blame. I'm not for a second denying these things happened. However if you look at the bigger picture you would see what a mess the whole region actually is. Its all far too easy to identify someone as a villain and portray them as such.
Thre's a pretty simple but effective question you should ask yourself if you want the answer. Where would you rather live, (if you had to) Iran or Israel?
"Difference between Israeli actions and Nazi actions in Warsaw are pretty much scale only. Germany did it on a larger population but the intent seems to be exactly the same"
Come on Dev you know no one in their right mind would want to live in Israel They can't even get genocide right. They have been in power for 5 times as long as the Nazis and only accomplished a fraction of the victims. Those lazy bastards.
You are going off topic again (not a debate on what each nation is like to live in but on international attitudes to respective nuclear programmes) but it gives me the chance to kill 2 birds with 1 stone. 1 - It seems that Jews living in Iran find life so comfortable they turned down cash bribes from the Israeli gov,t to relocate to Israel. 2 - In the same article you will find that President Ahmadinejad did not call for Israel to be "wiped off the map", but stated the "the regime occupying Jerusalem must vanish from the page of time". Very different inferences and the cynic in me would say the media deliberately misquoted him
Was Mahmoud Ahmadinejad misquoted (or was something lost in translation) when called the Holocaust "a myth"?
So what does that prove? Is there absolutely no Palestinians living comfortably in Israel? So it is acceptable to make those comments? (Even if they are less shocking) And who is to say he wouldn't say that about the previous regime, and the one before that, and the one before that...
