He'll be able to tell TCM about how he knew Gazza was going to be a star as well <laugh>. All seriousness he still takes a keen interest in how he's doing for us. I told him about Gazza's debut for Argentina the other month and noticed he posted about it on the Gill's forum. Gills look like they have a knack for finding talent in recent years as it goes, Bradley Dack who's now at Blackburn has been killing it in the Championship, so much so he's been linked with a move to the Prem.

One thing that always gets me about Premier League clubs getting an away draw to a lower-league team in the FA Cup is it feels like bad manners to go to their ground and stuff them

While there were many, many reasons why I couldn't stand Alex Ferguson, the one thing I couldn't fault him for was when Man Utd were drawn away to conference teams like Scarbrough and he'd set up his team so they would guarantee a draw, meaning they'd get a replay at Old Trafford and half the gate, which would be a lifeline to clubs like that - yet on the other hand, back when he was Chav manager Alberto Steptonho would have his team go to their ground, thump them by at least three goals, then bugger off with a cut of the gate receipts (and let's not forget how utterly batshit Kenny Dalglish acted for the Newcastle/Stevenage matches way back when...)

I came on here to read the comments about the game tonight. There’s a few comments about it...amongst the birthday messages!<laugh>

Happy birthday Alfie and RCL. Hope you’ve both had a great day! Hopefully spurs will be the icing on the cake!

Am I alone in thinking Poch should make a lot of changes tonight to give others a run that they’ve been eagerly awaiting and to rest up the regulars?

Tottenham Hotspur: Gazzaniga, Aurier, Foyth, Sanchez, Davies, Walker-Peters, Skipp, Dele (C), Lucas, Son, Llorente.

Subs: Vorm, Alderweireld, Eyoma, Marsh, Sissoko, Eriksen, Kane

3 at the back or KWP in midfield? Hmmmmmm.

KWP to provide crosses for Nando from a more advanced right wing position maybe?

Hope to see George Marsh get some minutes

What? He's a central midfielder. We need as many of those as we can get!!!

Maybe KWP on the left? It could work, let's hope it does.

Definitely a night for watching without commentary. They're gonna be desperate for us to lose, Mauricio Pochettino to leave, BFS to be his replacement, the new stadium to be slapped with a condemnation notice, Joe Lewis to be declared bankrupt, etc. etc.

I expect the pundits to be Merse, Souness and David Baddiel.
