I agree with most of what you said but Lovren (and I don’t play the scapegoat game) made a lot of errors last night
He was punished for two of them imho
However there were others that weren’t punished
The amount of pressure he placed on others (hendo on many occasions) through poor decisions was shocking.
Against the quality city have he was simply exposed as you say
However he made a lot of silly errors

Just hope it’s a blip for him not how he is going to continue - the header near the end straight to Sterling was ridiculous- he had players supporting plenty of options and he found the one city player.

Lovren had a poor game - but don't lose sight of the bigger picture and that we were set up to play a type of game that doesn't suit us.

 

It was a very similar game to the away games at Chelsea and Arsenal. We weren't great in either of those, but both tight games and got the draw. Last night felt similar

 

Didnt say it hasn’t. But someone asked how he was at fault for both goals, and the way he was at fault for the first is that he stood still while Aguero jogged in front of him.

 

Yep was one of those games. Got a draw the feeling would have been more positive. Probably have been ott lol.

Well it was highly unlikely wasnt it ffs.

 

I thought Liverpool had played on New Years Day and won, that would at least have given them a 50% win ratio for 2019 - although on checking i was wrong and they currently sit on a won none at the turn of the year, not good, no sireee, not good, we all know it only takes one slip
