Bellamy is going to fight the allegation.

I noticed on social media that there was another ex Cardiff lad sticking the boot in but I know him and he was a precious little twat who loved to pose about that he played for Cardiff and liked to have a go at other clubs and players on a regular basis.

It's a sport that has high standards and there is a lot of pressure on the lads in the academy system and you have to live with that. I'm not picking a side here but I find it hard to believe there is bullying because the coaches can simply get rid of a player if they don't like them which in itself is a form of bullying but there's no was to confirm that as they will always just say the player didn't make the grade.

Peter Beardsley is a well known bully as a football coach up here. Parents have spoken about him for years.

I suppose it's how you define bullying. I always remember as a young lad watching Steve Bruce play for the Gills before he went to Norwich/Man Utd, at that time he played alongside another lad named Mel Sage - most of you will not know Mel, but he went on to play for Derby County.

Anyway, I used to think old Brucie used to bully Sage when i was young. However, i realised as i got older, it was just the passion of the game. Mel was still fresh between the ears and Bruce was educating him in a very vocal manner. Sadly Sage's career was cut short by injury, but without doubt, Bruce's career was going places and did, so was he a bully or just a teacher made of sterner stuff.

Of course this is all my own subjective opinion before some muppet decides to sue me <laugh>

I remember Mel Sage. After he retired he set up a catering business with former Durham fast bowler Graham Onions.

They called it “Mel and Graham Catering”.

Bellamy's always been a massive twat. It wouldn't surprise anyone, would it?
He attacked a teammate with a golf club when they were asleep because they didn't like karaoke or something.
Having a chip on his shoulder about the English? Can totally see that.

****ing hell PNP you are making him out to be some kind of Welsh William Wallace on a mission. They want to thank their lucky stars it wasnae Duncan Ferguson coaching them. There might be something in Bellamy's behaviour but I think this is another soft as ****e snowflake social media reaction of 'hang him high'..

Yeah I heard a lot of stories over the years about his etiquette and people skills. One thing has always mystified me about him, why oh why have a ****ing fringe when you have a face like a bag of spud peelings? You would think with the cash he'd made he would have addressed the fact that he looked like a Maris Piper. We had another footballer up here called Joe Allon a few years ago at Newcastle and Hartlepool, god he was one ugly ****er, had a face like a sinkhole, nee cash to improve it either..paaah

  18. I'm the bullying, harrassment and discrimination network leader at work. The spike times for complaints are when there's highly pressurised work situations and during the annual appraisal round. A lot of the time the view is that someone either can't cope or doesn't like their report marking so makes a claim. Obviously that does happen but actually, when you dig under the surface, in many cases there will be something not quite right be it behaviours or not following correct procedures. Bullying is a really tricky one as it is very much about personal feelings and perceptions.

I guess that, as others have said, because there is so much pressure and intensity in all levels of football these days the potential for bullying either happening or being perceived to have happened is rife.

The lad who jumped on the band wagon is a precious little twat who just thought he'd made it because he was in Cardiff's academy, I can't say I know anything really but I've been at games with Bellamy coaching and he was always quite calm which surprised me.
