I'm not 100% sure as he appears to blow hot and cold and do we need another winger? - albeit one who can play wing back. However, a known quantity who had some good games and a goal or 2 against us in the past.
Bluey - I've watched him playing for Brom quite a few times on the box this season and he has been immense. He's a big lad and good defensively as a wingback. Going forward he very quick for a big guy and runs through opposition players if he can't go around them. Better option on the right than Mendez who seems to be only go one way and that's forward - he can't really defend. He's also a far better provider than Mendez who tends to score through his own efforts rather than contribute towards others. Haven't been in impressed with Camarasa's deliveries from set pieces - look at his corners last night. Matt Phillips is also very good at that and would be a huge improvement in that aspect of our game.
Points taken Sparks in particular Victor's set pieces - shocking for one so skillful. I don't think NML is that bad at defending although it is that long since I saw him play a full game I can't remember. He is certainly better than Murphy who seems to play with his head in the shed when covering back. He let Trippier go for their first last night. Knowing how Trippier plays surely Colin's last words would have been "Don't let the little bu££er get a yard away from you".
Don't think we'll see Murphy start against Huddersfield. I thought Warnock was seriously pissed off last night from what I saw down below me. Wasn't at all surprised not to see him come out for the second half. Don't what happened to Kadeem last night (was he injured?) but either he or NML deserves another shot if not.
Weren’t we looking at him a few seasons ago? I’d have him & Rodriguez- both PL experienced and know how to score.
Wonder if this has any legs, a Croat playing in Belgium. https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/cardiff-city-make-offer-croatia-15622735
Seems nothing's going to be straightforward............ https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/f...avour-Liverpool-defender-Nathaniel-Clyne.html
Would hope for one through the door before we play udders but it's not going to be easy. Hopefully clyne having worked with Colin before and the conversations he's had with Liverpool previously would edge things our way. We could do with a break.
Strike rate of a goal every 2.4 games since 2006 although standard up to 2013 doubtful. This improves to 1 every 2.25 games in last 5 years where he has played in the top divisions of Belgium and France. Not necessarily the flash in the pan some reports suggest. Also has 4 caps for Croatia. Could be useful and at a much lower price than Cala.
If Cala scores another goal against Southampton down there like the last time we were in the Prem, I'd take him.
Looks like there’s a hitch with the Tomlin move back https://www.gazettelive.co.uk/sport...ws/peterborough-lee-tomlin-loan-boro-15625104
Another............... http://sportwitness.co.uk/cardiff-city-closing-january-target-transfer-fee-agreed/
It’s incredible how random these stories are - one from Croatia and now this one. Wonder where it’ll be from tomorrow
Anyone for (that Jack bastard) Llorente? Has goals at this level for the Swans but has probably spent a bit too long on the bench and hasnt made much of an impact. Spurs are looking to get rid - reportedly he’s on 100 grand a week which is something I think we certainly won’t be playing
Apparently he's agreed terms with Galatasaray. A 100k per week, I doubt he'd command that sort of salary there!
If we miss out on our targets, then how bloody sweet would it be if we stay up just to rub it in their faces! A lot of these targets are probably assuming we are going down.
https://www.twtd.co.uk/ipswich-town-news/35186/lambert-targeting-ex-canary-pilkington I'd be happy for Pilks. imo a brilliant championship player!
