There has been a palpable sense of anti climax (yet again) today.

Rich Cawley has Tweeted that he has heard nothing about a takeover.

 

If this latest take-over bubble has indeed burst prematurely, there could be a considerable amount of disgruntlement at the Valley on Saturday afternoon - especially if things go badly on the pitch.
