No single treatment works best for everyone with plantar fasciitis. But there are many things you can try to help your foot get better:

Yes i had it for a year and it made my life hell!!

i tried everything, stretching, towel stretching running a frozen bottle under my foot blah blah blah, i think it was brought on by work boots, but i'm not sure. I could only wear trainers, everything else made my foot really sore, i think that was due to the pressure put on the sore bit. (i couldn't even wear my high heels when the wife was out)....ha ha

Anyway, in the end i went for ultrasound treatment. You can see it being done on Youtube (it sounds like a really loud clicking noise). It is a little bit sore but a nice sore....if you know what i mean. I got instant pain relief for an hour or two, but it comes back. All in all i took 2 - 3 weeks between treatments and took 6 treatments. I could feel it getting better every time. Now i have no problem, if you do the treatment then do it as soon as possible. My case was a bad one, so i compensated on other parts of my foot......don't wait that long!
