Good Morning Everyone

Phil Hay has revealed that Leeds have a back up contingency if they fail to land Toon keeper Karl Darlow.

The 28yo remains high on Bielsa's wish list but Leeds fee expectation differs from Newcastle's!

According to the UEP's supremo, Leeds have a number of back up options elsewhere!

My hope is that they'll sign Forster on loan from the Saints, especially after Gunn's incredible display against Chelsea last night keeping a clean sheet at Stamford Bridge cementing his no2 position. This will have pushed Forster ever closer to the exit door, surely!

Sky Sports yesterday reported that Jermain Defoe is available for transfer. The 36yo has been told that his appearances at Dean Court will be limited from the bench.

Whilst a true striker like Defoe never lose their instinct, surely at 36, his best days are behind him?

Would he sacrifice a place on the bench in the Premiership for a place on the bench in the Championship, albeit with a lot more game time?

The last issue is wages. Amazing as it sounds, Defoe is currently on 100k a week at Bournemouth. Leeds would only offer a third of that - surely?

If you were offered a guaranteed play off position today, would you take it?

Morning all <ok>

All quiet on the transfer front as the only stories are created by Journo's and agents when it concerns Leeds Utd. The keeper situation is very fluid as Phil Hay keeps saying. Newcastle want to sell Darlow or Woodbridge and Bentitez doesn't, so this all ends in tears as Newcastle want too much for Darlow anyway and we are looking at 3 or 4 prem keepers including Pope/Hart from Burnley as Dyche has changed things so could be a loan on the cards with a buy clause if we get promoted. Fabri from Fulham as Ranieri doesnt want a keeper who can use his feet and Forster at saints. There are also a couple of others from lower league and overseas but too much of a gamble.

Jermain Defoe in my view would guarantee promotion and I believe he would come as long as his club picked up his wages or a huge chunk of it. I don't see it happening and can see him going to Rangers.

As I said earlier its very quiet which could mean things are happening and nobody has seen Victor Orta for a while. Not sure how much truth is in the Stephan Zuber story from Hoffenheim but a seasoned International and Champions League veteran and still only 27yo. He plays all over even LWB, LW, DM, AM and a bit of a flyer, Berardi must know him too? The only other stories around concern the young Polish kid and the Scottish kid who is coming for a visit, but these are for the future not the first team.

Seems Orta has been/Is being busy in Spain having to sort out the scakoshit Sacki. Las Palmas dont rate, dont want him and want to send him back so Orta is trying to find a new home for him because he is on our books until 2020 unless we can off him

Good Morning to Matt and co from a dull Bardsey
Well I got my wish yesterday and 20 yellow hammers appeared after I put down a special seed what a sight!
Westwood for me forget Darlow hes injured so we will probably sign him then
Defoe is 36 probably get injured in his first game not worth the expense
What I cant get my head roundis we have know B PF is not good enough yet we are still humming and rring about who we should get bloody useless Boro wanted La Para and he had a medical 2 days before the window opened that what we should have done .Instead indiscision time comes in again

Cant see him going to Rangers. If he does, his parent club will have to cover almost all his wages as Rangers pay less than even us and are still in a financial mess. If we cant compete with them, we are in trouble
