You're not allowed 12 players on the field no matter how important your 12th player is. I'm going to suggest Video Refs review your 2017/2018 season under suspicion you had a 12th player all year.
You been playing 4 at the back haven’t you with zinchenko or delph at lb? Reckon you’ll switch to 3 for this game, if so I think that’ll really suit us, as it leaves you 3v3 at the back in theory with lots of room down the wings for salah and mane to expose.
3 at the back but Fernandinho drops in to make a 4 when defending Guardiola prefers to play with 3 and 2 wingbacks but injuries have made that difficult
Youll know more than me but does that not stifle sane/Sterling/de Bruyne who have to drop back to defend more? Juat know that last year when Roma came and played 3 at the back v us in the CL they got torn apart. It certainly seems to suit us although obviously allows you to control the ball more with 5 midfielders. Suits us on the counter though. Whata your view on Fernandinho and his lack of yellows btw? We joke around a lot that he seems to have to make about 10 fouls to get a yellow, is it something you guys notice?
