So, green waste... to demonstrate what it does to the land, I have photographed everything I dug and split into two lots. Finds dropped over the past 4000 years: Finds ploughed into the land over the last year: I reckon that's approximately 67% (2/3) finds are from the "green" waste and that's after 1 year of spreading it. Next year it will be 80%. The year after 86%. And this is supposed to be a green alternative to landfill: instead of a big pile of crap in a few select places, you spread a thin film of crap over the entire countryside. I estimate there to be 50,000 of these fragments in the field. If you dumped all that crap on a beach there'd be outrage. Where is the outrage? @Toby
In the first pic, how can your machine detect chicken and pesto wraps? I would like to go metal detecting though, I see a few ****s doing it on the beach here in Malaga
I don't understand your question squire. As for beach detecting: not my cup of tea but I've heard you can make a bit of cash and find the odd gold ring if you live in a resort and go out regularly.
In your first pic on the 2nd line, the first 5 or so, hilariously look like wraps that you would buy from Tesco.
I've no idea what you are talking about, those are WWII .303 bullet shells, think the Home Guard did a lot of training on this field as I find **** loads of them.
I'm beeling uncontrollably about this Tweets will be sent and Grove will be posting a Metro link moaning about it tomorrow (if he's not dead)
I had a Saturday job in Tesco, finished my shift at 20:30, straight down the pub in my grey nylon blazer.
Thanks for your support, if we all stick together, maybe we can make this world a better place in which to go metal detecting.
Does this metal detecting thingy pick up tooth fillings and medical implants? If so I advise you to stay well clear of the wooded areas around villages in the less populated areas of rural Lanarkshire. Jist saying like
