Did I miss anything exciting from JWP in that half? One shot from 2 miles out but other than that he has looked all at sea, chasing ghosts a bit. Not trying to pick fault but Romeu seems to be doing 90% of their shared workload. I'd just do whatever he's doing

Nothing too exciting in attack but the longer this goes on at 0-0 the more likely we are to nick one on the break. Very good defensive display.
Stats show he has been out best passer of the ball so far with 21 completed passes so lets not start having a go at players when everyone is working so damn hard out there
You mean the longer it stays 0-0, the less the likelihood of us getting completely annihilated? And ruling out any one possible outcome reduces the odds against all other outcomes, including the option of us somehow stealing a win? That works.
Why are people talking about rotation? Bar the keeper and injuries this is pretty much the first team choice he’s been using. The only rotation was against City, and that was across the mental run of Christmas fixtures...

its weird, Romeu has been the playmaker and Prowse the DM. he's won the ball back 5 or 6 times but his forward passes havent been great, been keeping it simple.
Exactly. The City game was 3 days after Spam, where everyone said the players looked knackered. Tonight the same players look fresh. Go figure.
Yep, but I'm a fan of his. He was an inspiration in our relegation battle last year. This position doesn't suit him but I felt he was standing off too much.
Not against Chelsea! Under Ralph we’ve had less possession than normal anyway, but throw Chelsea into that and I’d expect us to have it even less. I still expected a defeat, but good that we’ve shown some more improvement on the defensive organisation. Still only had Ralph for a few weeks and the signs look good, even if we get spanked here second half.
