Ralph commented after the West Ham game that Lemina was still struggling with his abdominal injury and he certainly didn’t seem to be doing too well against City.
It is mate its confirmed on our own website. It's not split by upper/lower either the full one would the away end closer to the goal if that makes sense.
I love when Puel made so many changes match by match he was regularly slaughtered ... Ralph just gets praise. Weird. Not just on here but the wider saints fanbase.
Cedric starting I think is more than just Targett being injured. New manager doesn't exactly look scared of trying out youth and Vokins is highly rated so reckon Cedric may have a future, unless Vokins is injured that I am unaware of. Lemina being left out completely is more telling, only thing is if that stomach injury has reappeared.
Yeah but the key difference is that Puel was playing experienced seasoned pros (in most cases). Ralph is throwing in kids who may turn out to be useless but you know one of our own and all that bollocks
Interesting to see how this line up does. I think it could be a difficult night. What I don’t want is Valery to have his confidence ripped apart by Hazard
Puel's rotation often led to us putting out weakened sides in matches which on paper we could win. I'm completely laid back at rotating the squad against City and Chelsea!
I’m not convinced that’s necessarily correct. Maybe the odd one, but I thought that each side was pretty capable. It was more the fans ignoring his message at the start of the season about managing the pace of games and the squad due to Europa matches (plus eventually Cup matches). The clearest thing he did was play Fonte plus VVD in league matches and Yoshi plus VVD in Europa games, which was fair enough. Anyway..... back to the game. Come on Saints.
I'm just hoping the team play without fear, and work there nuts off. We have nothing to lose here really, just go and make if difficult for Chelsea.
That, and the fact Puel has the charisma of a wet dishcloth. Unjust possibly, but it’s also why, incredibly, there are now muttering about him Leicester
Good stream here on what appears to be a Valencia and Arsene Wenger tribute site http://elixx.me/zvalencia.html
I'm more worried about Gunn's confidence. Big ask for him to start at Stamford Bridge. Lets see how it goes.
