The difference is, Mr Filey, you are as honest as the day is long, so you are happy to hold up your hands. People like Howden seem to fear being wrong. It's sad and pointless, but that's the way it is.
If dodgy owners are the yardstick for attending games or not, then there’s only the Pearson era of the last 30 years, that we would have had a crowd. We’ve had some crackers: Fish, Robinson, Lloyd, Duffen among others. Lloyd in particular did more damage to the club and treated the fans with contempt. The club is like Brexit at the moment, totally divided and only the Allams leaving will move us forward, people have the right to attend or not, but I’m proud to be an inclusive part of a special time we are currently experiencing and wouldn’t miss it for the world, Allams or no Allams.
It reduces his taxes but he is in essence no better off. One of the biggest tax avoidance/reduction schemes at the time was Harold Needler's "gift" of shares. I, nor anyone else had any complaints about that though.
Prove me wrong and I'll happily shake your hand and admit it was.....but your opinion being different to mine doesn't make me wrong
You won't shake my hand, you won't ever admit to being wrong. You don't have to though. We already know
Glad your sorted Mr CambridgeTiger . For some reason HRI terrifies me and i legged it off a ward in there when sent from castle hill about 9 years ago Castle Hill doesn't seem as scary to me for some reason but I am hopeless at hospital stuff It has to be same doc Same specialists Same nurses Anyway glad your ok ..stay well everyone
Said at the game to two friends that I bet Dicko scores with his first touch. He actually did a dummy to leave ball for a teammate (didn’t work) but reckon it was because too far out to score. Anyway he did score with first touch about 5 minutes after coming on and we went wild!!!
Absolutely brilliant post, I don't think some people understand how a protest works. We could win every game for the rest of this season win promotion to the Premier League and win the league, I still wouldn't attend a home game. It's quite simple really.
Yet, strangely, to those who continued going through those times, it still felt like "our club" in a way it doesn't now. In a way we owe Lloyd. We might have lurched from one crisis to another for the foreseeable future but he brought things to a head which in time led to AP getting hold of the club.
Any more offers for a paid meal at a restaurant of choice? Lets stop arguing amongst ourselves. Remember Liz asked for more understanding of 'others' point of view. Respect each other. ALLAM OUT
A minority of ****s who refuse to accept the will of the majority and who are determined to sabotage our future for spiteful and selfish reasons?
May I hazard a guess? (I'm gonna anyway) Methinks this fishy chappie is one of the '' it's his club and he can do what he wants it'' ....... it's been a long time since one of these inadequates has stuck their head above the parapet.
