Trips to Tottenham and Manchester United were never likely to yield much in the way of point scoring opportunities, but the travelling fans won’t have been prepared for the duo of thrashings they were on the receiving end of. Spurs won 5-0 at Wembley before a new-look Man Utd hammered them 4-1 on Sunday to continue their rather disappointing winter form. They have now won just 2 of their last 10 Premier League games. With a string of defensive players out injured, they will not have been helped when Nathan Ake hobbled off clutching a hamstring. please log in to view this image Watford saved a point on Saturday against Newcastle United as substitute Abdoulaye Doucoure bagged the equalizer with just eight minutes remaining on the clock. It was clearly not the best performance we’ve seen from Watford throughout the season as they just looked lame in the final third. please log in to view this image Team News. Not available yet. The game on the south coast will be the Hornets' fourth in 11 days and Gracia said on Saturday night he will make changes. Not so easy to guess where the changes will be. Last time there were a lot we looked quite disjointed.
Perhaps we should start with the 1st 11 and then sub them after 20 mins when we are 4-0 up? I probably should not tempt fate....
Yeh c'mon Horns, beat that So Threatening MIGHTY Dorset club and that EVIL manager of theirs (think you'll find thats just his demeanour Mr Canary-most people have one of one type or another). How dare they have had the nerve to pip WFC to the Championship title a few years back.. Should have an affinity with clubs like them, Pozzos Possessions havent quite reached Manch Utds ,Citys status yet.
7 penalties awarded to 'muff (most of them questionable) over 11 matches against Watford should be enough to tip the ire of even the most rational fan. As to the Championship: we threw it away, ultimately cost Joka his job, because of poor defending... the Pozzo's taking the evidently correct course of action in not meeting his demands given the awful start Fulham have had this season. Howe is a smug so and so - his lookout, not mine. "Pozzo's Possessions" will never reach Utd's / City's status - but we have at least competed with them thus far. Of course it is Liverpool this season who are continuing in a rich vein of form: the litmus tests against the elite will be how we perform at the North London Nomads (wherever that will be) and at Anfield at the end of next month... given that they've just put five past Arsenal... In the mean time we will have to do a job on teams that are genuinely nearer our "status": Palace, Burnley, Brighton, Cardiff... and yes, Everton.
Nice to see you good sir! I take it that your local club are not providing as much entertainment as you see these days at the Vicarage .
Fire in the East Stand at Bournemouth. Club Coach not allowed in and 2 fire engines on the scene... Not sure how serious this is? A Sent from my F8331 using Tapatalk
Well you've been conspicuous by your absence so I took it upon myself to bring you up to speed... ;-) Anyway, good to see another of the old guard return to the fray.
Perused local news, fire not serious -spectators FLOCKING into the ground -sorry Bournemouth ,I'm taking the mickey now
Well at last a Watford game on the TV in the bar. And my Brother-in-law from Madrid is still here (Real supporter but he has seen the horns twice on the internet streams). So enjoy one and all, especially any travelling faithful. Take care. And let's hope we score a few goals against their 2nd choice defence. 0-4 would put us 7th
Thank You,and belated congrats on Your Coming Of Age,hope The Lady is well. Assume you refer to that 'sorry state 'club in the Championship, couldnt change allegience anyway after all these years even if havent attended since Dixie Hale nearly commited a foul. Even hope they do ok tonight despite some sillinessby some towards The Dorset Devils, should even get listenable radio reception for a change here ,although without Jon Marks dulcet tones
