I can see just two results tonight. Chelsea stride into an early lead, stay in 2nd gear & win convincingly. Or, we start really well, energy levels & discipline perfectly aligned, and they win but with a shocker of a decision by the ref.

Agreed on shelvey. I think a coach would be better telling him not to tackle at all, but he is exactly the sort of player an Ings or Gabbiadini would love to play with.

yes there's always a bit of added annoyance with a saints defeat.

i have also come to the conlcusion that neil warnock is not very nice

I'd like to see JWP given a chance. It is clear that Ralph fancies him and maybe a run of games will do him good. I feel that the lack of regular selection has counted against him in the past and he needs regular football to improve.

Interesting to see some of the comments about Lemina on here. When he is playing well he is a shoo-in but I think he is far too erratic and capable of being really poor. I think he would prove to be a quality player in a better team than the current Saints squad. Not sure I would want to see him sold.

Big fan of ML, but I think his recent performances have impacted on other players. So, if JwP is more limited in ability, at least the effort he will show will not be counter productive.
    Still fuming at PeH. <grr>

Forgot we were even playing today, I don’t even know what day it is.

Can’t see anything else other than a loss, though they might surprise me.

Good Lemina is our second best player - by some distance better than the majority of the squad. But bad Lemina continues to appear too often (particularly when PEH isn't alongside him).

Pints, unsurprisingly, are extortionately priced in West London.

They charged you for two smaller bottles, and poured it into a pint glass, surely!

Cedric back then, people spoke too soon about his leaving perhaps?

Nice to see Danny and Nathan back in the side.
